Jon is a producer working across film & television.

He set up Piros Films in 2024, with the aim of making bold, authentic and commercially leaning films and series with an international focus. The company now has a number of projects across its slate including, ‘The Major is Coming!’, is a UK/Hungary co-production set to shoot in mid-2026.

The company is also developing ‘Punishment’, which is set to be the first ever English language adaptation of the Indian author Rabindranath Tagore’s work on film. The project was selected for Film London’s New Talent Strand at their Production Finance Market, as well as the prestigious Co-production market at Film Baazar in Goa.

More recently he produced the independent feature ‘The Effects of Lying’ starring Ace Bhatti, Laila Rouass, Lauren Patel & Mark Williams - a dark comedy which sought to bring a fresh representation of contemporary British Asian families on UK screens. The film had its world premiere at Galway International Film Festival, and then played New York Asian Film Festival, Dinard and London Indian Film Festival. The film has been distributed worldwide and is being distributed in the UK by Vertigo.

In 2024 Jon was selected for the prestigious BIFA springboard scheme for producers working towards their second feature.
